Ich habe nie daran geglaubt, dass gute Produkte zufällig entstehen. Mich haben schon immer Systeme interessiert. Musik, Räume, Abläufe, Software. Das sind Dinge, die für sich funktionieren müssen - sonst spürt man es sofort. Wenn etwas unrund läuft, merke ich das schnell. Dieses Gefühl war immer mein Startpunkt. I’ve never believed that good products just happen by chance. I’ve always been interested in systems—music, spaces, processes, software. These are things that have to work on their own—otherwise, you notice it right away. If something isn’t quite right, I pick up on it quickly. That feeling has always been my starting point.

Logik ist der Schlüssel. Eine gute Logik reduziert Reibung, macht Entscheidungen klarer und Systeme vorhersehbarer. Ein Produkt mit guter Logik hat keinen unnötigen Ballast, lässt nichts vermissen und ist nicht kompliziert. Diese Schönheit ist nicht visuell, sondern zeigt sich im Verhalten der Benutzer in kürzester Zeit. Logic is the key. Good logic reduces friction, makes decisions clearer, and makes systems more predictable. A product with good logic has no unnecessary clutter, lacks nothing, and isn’t complicated. This beauty isn’t visual; rather, it becomes apparent in users’ behavior almost immediately.
Ein guter Gastgeber drängt sich nicht auf. Er antizipiert die Bedürfnisse seiner Gäste, ohne dabei Aufmerksamkeit zu verlangen. Übertragen auf digitale Produkte bedeutet das: Systeme, die führen, ohne zu belehren, helfen, ohne zu stören, und stehen nicht im Weg.
